2. What 64 Duels is
A free chess game played in your browser, against the computer or between two people on the same device. No sign-up is needed. Using the site means you accept this notice; if you do not agree with it, please do not use it.
Play as much as you like. We only ask that you do not use it for unlawful purposes or try to harm, overload or access non-public parts of the service.
3. Intellectual property
The code, design, 3D piece models and animations, images and texts of 64 Duels belong to Green PC or are used with their owners’ permission. All rights reserved: they may not be reproduced, distributed or transformed without our written permission, except where the law allows.
The sound effects come from third-party libraries whose licences allow this use (CC0 public domain and the “Sonniss #GameAudioGDC” bundle licence). The rules of chess belong to no one.
If you believe any content infringes your rights, write to hola@greenpc.es and we will look into it.
4. Liability
We take care that the game works well, but we cannot guarantee that it will always be available or free of errors. We are not liable for interruptions or failures beyond our control, such as those of the hosting provider or your connection. None of this limits the rights you have by law as a consumer.
64 Duels may link to other sites (for example, hQuest). We do not control their content or policies.
5. Privacy: what data we process
We do not ask you for any data. There are no accounts, forms, cookies, ads or third-party analytics.
- What is stored on your device. The game may remember your preferences (language, level, piece style) in your browser’s local storage. It never leaves your device, we never receive it, and you can delete it at any time from your browser settings.
- Server technical logs. Like any website, the servers record technical data about each visit (IP address, date and page requested). It is used only to run the site and protect it from abuse, and it is deleted within a short period. The legal basis is our legitimate interest in keeping the service secure.
- Our own anonymous usage statistics. To know whether people enjoy the game and whether it works, our own server records individual facts: that a page was opened, that a game started or ended (level, result, number of moves, duration), how long it took to load, and program errors. Each one carries the device type, the browser and operating system family, the language and the website you came from. Your IP address is not stored and no cookies are used, nor anything that stays on your device: to count distinct visitors in a day we compute a fingerprint with a random key that is destroyed every day, so it cannot recognise you, not even from one day to the next. The statistics are not shared with anyone or used for advertising. If your browser has “Do Not Track” or Global Privacy Control turned on, nothing is recorded. The legal basis is our legitimate interest in improving the site.
To serve the site we use these providers, acting as data processors:
- OVHcloud: web hosting, with servers in London (United Kingdom). The United Kingdom has an adequacy decision from the European Commission (Art. 45 GDPR), renewed in December 2025 and valid until 27 December 2031, so processing there needs no additional safeguards.
You can exercise your rights of access, rectification, erasure, objection, restriction and portability by writing to hola@greenpc.es. If you think we have not handled your data properly, you can complain to the Spanish Data Protection Agency (www.aepd.es) or to the authority in your country.
6. Changes and governing law
We may update this notice to reflect changes in the law or in the game; the version in force is the one published here, dated above. It is governed by Spanish law. If you are a consumer, the courts of your place of residence have jurisdiction. The Spanish version prevails in case of discrepancy.
